7 CORE VALUES

Spreading Christlikeness worldwide.

The Christlike Disciplemakers' Movement is an equipping arm of the Body of Christ. We serve as a training, coaching, mobilizing, mentoring and sending centre for the church of God. The seven key areas outlined below are the heartbeat of CDM. They are at the core of our training sessions. They are the central aim of our Bible College. They are the pivot of our annual retreats and prayer festivals. Our leaders, Bible College teachers, and students all seek to be filled and saturated with this sevenfold passion. Here are the seven key areas we champion.

The Mission

With 2 Timothy 2:2 as our watchword, we believe that disciples are made by Christlike disciples, and are not just born. CDM members commit themselves to growing in Christlikeness and producing at least one Christlike disciple-maker yearly.

Our 7 Core Values
  1. CHRISTLIKENESS - At CDM, our mission is to nurture Christlike Christians. We believe all spiritual growth leads to becoming more like Christ, reflecting the Father’s heart (Rom. 8:29). Christ’s life uniquely pleased God (Matt. 3:16-17; 17:5), and the Holy Spirit’s primary role is to transform us into His likeness (2 Cor. 3:18). One day, we will be fully like Him, dwelling with Him forever (1 Jn. 3:2; 1 Thess. 4:16-18). Rooted in the biblical vision of the five-fold ministry and the example of Christian leaders (Eph. 4:11-13; 1 Cor. 11:1; Col. 1:28), CDM is dedicated to modeling and spreading Christlikeness worldwide.
  2. MAKING DISCIPLES WHO MAKE DISCIPLES - CDM is devoted to making disciples who make disciples and plant churches, following the Master’s command (Matt. 28:19-20). Disciples are made through intentional effort, not born by chance. Jesus’ strategy focused on prayerful selection and investing deeply in a few who could lead others. He empowered, delegated, and supervised these men to become fishers of men (Matt. 4:19; Mk. 3:14-15; Acts 1:8). True growth comes through multiplication, not mere addition (2 Tim. 2:2). Believers grounded in faith and maturity are the most fruitful, stable and strategic for advancing God’s kingdom. CDM is committed to leading with best biblical practices in disciplemaking.
  3. FINISHING THE TASK OF WORLD EVANGELISM - CDM is committed to completing the task of the Great Commission. Jesus commanded us to preach the gospel to all creation and make disciples of those who respond (Mk. 16:15-16; Matt. 28:19-20). God’s desire is for no one to perish (2 Pet. 3:9), and Jesus’ sacrifice covers the sin of all humanity (Jn. 1:29). With 41% of people groups still unreached, we believe this mission is achievable. Through Christlike disciplemaking, the task can be completed within a generation. God’s promise in Revelation 7:9 assures us that this vision will be fulfilled.
  4. GIFT DISCOVERY, DEVELOPMENT & USE - CDM exists to help individuals fulfill God’s unique call on their lives. We believe every person is God’s workmanship, created in Christ for good works prepared in advance (Eph. 2:10; Jer. 1:5). Our mission is to guide people in discovering their purpose and using their God-given uniqueness to bless both God and others. By uncovering spiritual gifts, talents, and potential, we strive to help everyone achieve their highest and best in God (Prov. 22:29; 2 Tim. 1:6). Each person’s response to God’s call leads to true fulfillment and divine purpose.
  5. JESUS IN THE MARKETPLACE - CDM believes in the priesthood of every believer, empowering Christians to be ambassadors of Christ in all areas of life—work, school, home, the marketplace, and neighborhoods (1 Pet. 2:4,9; Rev. 1:6; 2 Cor. 5:20). Most of our time is spent outside the church, and to be salt and light in the world, Christians must see their workplace as their pulpit (Matt. 5:13-16). Every resource, promotion, and salary is God’s provision for ministry (Col. 4:17; Prov. 10:16). We are committed to training and coaching our members to disciple, plant cells, and start churches in their everyday environments (Acts 8:1-4). We believe effective tentmaking missionaries come from these very believers.
  6. MINISTRY TO THE POOR & NEEDY - At CDM, we are committed to serving the poor and marginalized, recognizing God’s compassionate heart for the less fortunate (Deut. 15:1-15). God intentionally chooses the weak and marginalized to confound the powerful (1 Cor. 1:25-28; Jas. 2:5). We believe in equality and respect for all people, regardless of race, nationality, or ethnicity (Rom. 2:11; Acts 10:33-34). We advocate for social justice, raising awareness for forgotten and unreached people groups. Our compassion ministries extend through partnerships to prisoners, street children, prostitutes, drug addicts, widows, the sick, disabled, and others in need.
  7. PREPARING THE CHURCH FOR THE SECOND COMING - CDM is dedicated to mobilizing the Church for world evangelism and preparing her for the Second Coming of Jesus (Eph. 5:25-27). We recognize the need for a Church that is fully awakened and ready to meet her King, rather than one that is backslidden or worldly. We believe the Church holds the key to completing the task of global evangelism, with pastors playing a central role in transforming the Church into a mobilized force. Our training is designed to inspire every believer to embrace their global responsibility (Acts 1:8). We aim to raise up apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the saints for Christ’s mission (Eph. 4:11-13). We envision vibrant local churches where all—men, women, youth, and children—are passionate about evangelism and purifying themselves in anticipation of Christ’s return (1 Thess. 4:18).
